Couldn't believe I followed the 2008 Election until 6.30 am. I was so excited watching the time for opposition to rise. It is not that i dislike BN, but I personally prefer a better government, a better representative, and a better leader. I love Malaysia, that's why I want some changes. Finally, Chinese, Indian and some Malays have spoken. Malaysians at the ballot box, listening to the heart, have voted for their future.....
It is pretty pity for BN to lost Penang, Kedah, Perak, Selangor and Kelantan one by one. It was so dramatic yesterday when my friends and I watching the opposition takes over these 5 states. By 6.30 am, it was official that BN only managed to get simple minority in Parliament. No more 2/3 for them. Both chiefs for MIC lost. Sharizat lost to Anuar's daughter. Penang ex-chief Koh Tsu Koon lost everything. Lots of other well-known politicians lost to the opposition (DAP, PKR and PAS). Penang Chief will be Lim Guan Eng (from DAP), Selangor MB belongs to Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim (from PKR), Kelantan MB should be someone from PAS. Perak MB today decided to be reps from PAS and not to forget Kedah, who will be the next MB?? For my hometown, Alor Star is now under DAP! Rocket, can u gv us a better future? We will see.
It is too late for BN to do anything. They should find out the underlying causes and listen more to the people. A lot of Malaysians have waited for 5 years to put BN in such an alarming situation. I am not favouring BN or the opposition in particular, I only choose the better one. Who is better, I give my vote. Deep from my heart, BN, i believe if u change within the next 5 years, u will get a deserved victory.
It is interesting when one of my friends asked me: "you are taking scholarship from BN, why u r not supporting them?". Well, this was how I replied:" I am taking scholarship from Malaysia, not BN. Malaysia deos not belong to BN, it belongs to Malaysians. So, I am taking Malaysia tax payers' money to study, and serve for Malaysia, not BN." Guess what, I gained high compliment from him. Haha, he is one of those who love and undertsand Malaysia well, I respect him.
This is something I came across when reading BBC news (2008),
"The last time the National Front suffered a big setback, in 1969, it resulted in race riots, dozens of deaths and a state of emergency.
There is not any sign of that sort of violence being repeated, but there is a fear of tension and anger and the next couple of days could be crucial"
Another news also reveals ex-PM, Mahathir urging Pak Lah to step down.
Well, I pray for peace in Malaysia. Come on Malaysians, we are civilised and democratic.
Congrat Malaysia, your are more democratic than ever, I wish u a better future.
p/s: Manchester Untied and Chelsea both lost unexpectedly in FA cup, sad. Chelsea, what u doing??
