Oh, Tissue!!

What happen! Why suddenly I am dropping from heaven to hell. For the past few weeks, I was really busy for the weekly Case Based Learning. Everyweek presentation, oh man. And from simple macronutrient to the complicated cytoskeleton, I am sure INTEC students are struggling hard here. This week somemore go into EPITHELIAL TISSUE........3 lessons we finish the epithelial tissue, wat!!!

Then St. John Ambulance First Aid course coming soon, 30 compressions, 2 breath, bla bla bla........ Next week need to submit 500 words REFLECTIVE PIECES, and the title is What does health mean to me? Sigh, got to visit WHO website frequently. Plus the biopsychosocial model stuff, hoho. Cool.

Today lecture was informative, I just got to know that there were two more people helping Watson and Crick to win the nobel prize. But anyway, they were not given the honour due to certain reasons, sigh. And 1 more thing, do you guys know why the logo for medicine comprises 1 stick and 1 snake? I was shocked when I knew about it.

University Apartment (Part 6)

In UTAS, the accommodations offered include University apartment, Christ College, John Fisher College and Jane Franklin Hall. All of these are just renovated, that means I got to stay in a new room, haha. Below are the pictures for Uni. Apartment:

There are only a few units for Uni Aparttment and each unit can accommodate 4 to 6 students.

Since the accommodations are on the hill, we can enjoy the nice scenery around everyday. The sea, the mountain, the ........... can't describe using words. Very very nice.

Friends from Switzealand (Part 5)

This guy only 18, can't believe it. He was with his friend in Australia for a nice journay. He worked and travelled all around the world before continue his studies in IT. (notice the poster besides him)

This poster is very very interesting. It reflects the wilderness of Tasmania. Tasmania is pround to have an animal called Tasmania Devil. Only found in Tasmania oh!!!

Backpakers (Part 4)

I arrived in Hobart, Tasmania after almost 10 hours flight, together with the other 4 friends. For the first 5 days, UTAS accommodation services still can't allocate us in the residential college. Therefore, we got to pay 24 dollars a night in Central City Backpakers. Although it was quite frustrating, I got the experience to stay in backpakers for the first time and met people from all around the world, mainly the tourists in Tasmania.

The first few days in Hobart were really hot, and the locals considered it as abnormal. That's why I got to wear shorts.

The double-decker in the backpackers made me proud because it is made in Malaysia. Hooray.

That's a simple picture showing the medium dorm for 6 persons. Anyway, those are not my bed.

We went for a walk in Hobart and found this, super expensive ice-cream. RM 20 for one. Wanlaueh. Anyway, it was worth spending on.

The first few International Students I met in backpackers. From the right, John from USA, me, David from Sweden and Vinesh from Malaysia.
